「多打一輪的副作用出現了，這場比賽很明顯球員跑不太起來。」談到最後背水一戰的敗因，麥班達表示：「球員的鬥志、拚勁都還在，但都已經力不從心，體力下滑、外線的命中率也下降。」
「雖然最後沒有達到最理想的結果，但也算是完成階段性目標。」麥班達表示：「本季球隊原本就設定要在換血的同時打進4強，所以可以算是成功。」

「無論如何，我覺得全隊還是打得非常棒，我非常以球隊為榮。」戴維斯表示：「希望我們能記取這系列賽學到的教訓，下個球季捲土重來。」
